Location: Calahonda Golf is located in Sitio de Calahonda which is half way between Fuengirola and Marbella. Just 30 minutes from Malaga Airport it is close to all attractions of the Costa including numerous beaches, waterpark, Puerto Banus with the yachts of the rich and famous. Water sports are available at most of the beaches in summer. You will be spoilt for choice with the range of restaurants within walking distance or just a few minutes drive. There are several supermarkets in Calahonda as well as pubs, but if you want some serious shopping, the Parque Commerciale in Marbella is ten minutes away by car or bus. Public transport from Calahonda is excellent for travelling up or down the coast as it is on the E7 Motorway (old N340) and excursion trips are frequent to places such as Gibraltar, Ronda and North Africa or inland to some of the Spanish white villages. Golf: The apartment is situated on La Siesta Golf Club. This is a nine hole par 3 course and is ideal for a quick limber up before maybe going shopping or sightseeing or to the beach. For a more serious game there are several dozen courses in the immediate vicinity with Cabo Pino being within five minutes drive.
